Born into a Muslim family, on the 28th of February 1963, Rev. Kasali yielded his life to Christ in the early 80s after which he then went on to be ordained into full time ministry in 1995 at the National Headquarters of Foursquare Gospel Church. The senior pastor of Foundation of Truth Assembly headquartered in Surulere, Lagos with branches in Houston, Abuja and Lekki, Rev. Yomi Kasali runs a humanitarian outreach; 5Loaves 2Fishes www.5loaves2fishes.org aimed at feeding the less privilege, providing clothing and medi-care to the less privilege. He is a renowned radical teacher, a social crusader, a mentor, an outstanding administrator, an international speaker, a televangelist with his popular telecast, Impact Today on Silverbird television (STV) and Television Continental (TVC Entertainment) which airs every Sunday by 2:30pm & 3pm respectively. Rev. Yomi Kasali, runs various networks for the youths and young couples including Campus Connect, Klub Daniel, The Friendship Centre, 412 Hangout for singles, ChillOut and Matters of the Heart.
He is also the President, Berean Ministers Group, a gathering of full and part time ministers of the gospel in a stronger bond to enhance the work of the ministry. He is the secretary of the Nigerian Coalition of Apostolic Leaders (NCAL) an affiliate of International Coalition of Apostolic Leaders (ICAL).
He is also the current chairman of the Nigerian Pilgrims Commission and a member of the governing council of the University of Lagos. He is married to Pastor Sharon Adefunke Kasali and they are blessed with 2 children.
